GENERAL LIABILITY
Intake Conversation
Before taking part in any trajectory or session (individual or group), an intake conversation is required—either in person or online. Participation is not possible without this initial meeting. Following the intake, Queer Shamanism may decide to refer you elsewhere and reserves the right to refuse further participation.
Follow-up Sessions
At the start of each follow-up session, we briefly review how things are going. It’s your responsibility to inform us of any changes in your personal or medical situation.
Session Reflection
Before and after each session, there’s space to share how it felt. Queer Shamanism reserves the right to end the process at any time. In such a case, any pre-paid sessions will be refunded.
Providing Information
You’re expected to be honest and complete in the information you provide. Incomplete or incorrect details may result in limited or disappointing outcomes.
Responsibility of Queer Shamanism
We commit to guiding participants to the best of our professional ability. However, no specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed.
Privacy
Your personal data is treated confidentially and handled in line with GDPR (AVG in Dutch). Records are kept anonymously and stored securely for 20 years, in line with Dutch legal requirements.
Other Healthcare Providers

Transparency

Mental Health Concerns

Treatment Plan
Treatment plans are created based on the information you provide, and are carried out with professional care, intuition, and experience.

We operate in accordance with Dutch healthcare laws, including WGBO and WKKGZ. This includes confidentiality, complaints procedure, and disciplinary law through CAT and GAT.
